The Indiana Daily Student has been a publication for more than 150 years. On the Marketing staff, I worked on partnership campaigns, press releases, new product releases, social media campaigns, direct mail campaigns, event marketing and general data analysis.

CAMPAIGNS

Messenger Bot Campaign:

 

I created and scheduled developed advertisements off of @idsnews through multiple social media platforms to reach all of our different audiences. These ads were targeted among sports, breaking news, morning breakdown, and more.

The campaign achieved a total of 15,000 impressions and over 5,000 engagements over the course of two months.

IU Auditorium Contest Campaign:

 

I advertised IU Auditorium ticket contests based on a partnership in exchange for brand awareness.  These ads were customized among the different shows and the team conducted an average of 5 contests a semester.  

​

Overall, this campaign reached an average of 20,000 impressions per auditorium contest.

Housing Fair Campaigns: Fall 2017, Spring 2018, Fall 2018

 

I created a marketing campaign for the IDS Housing fair containing over 60 vendors and prize sponsorships from local Bloomington businesses. 

​

This involved writing copy and managing the design of the advertisements as well as creating a content calendar for the social media roll-out on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. 

​

This campaign reached an average of 600 attendees per semester with an average of 350 subscribers to direct mail newsletter with weekly stories.
